I'm so glad you stopped by and I hope you visit often. Like going to your Grandparent's house, I want this to be a place you can come for inspiration, encouragement, ideas and a warm comfortable place to visit. As you may have guessed, my family is my everything, but things are not always perfect. We are a real family with real successes and real struggles. We have cried together through difficult times and celebrated the many happy experiences that have come our way.

Family Activities

Spending time as a family is something that we love to do. Planning and executing family activities is one of my favorite ways to spend my free time. I hope that me sharing my ideas and what has worked to bring my family together will help you as well. Whether it is traveling, cooking, or simply having a game night at home, an activity you have with your family will bring you closer together.

Building Strong Relationships

Building strong relationships is key to having a successful family. As you can see, we have a couple of additions. As your family grows some of the most difficult things you will need to do is merge two families.

We absolutely adore our two sons-in-law, but their family dynamic is completely different from ours. This can prove to be challenging, OR it can prove to be great fun. Embrace the differences and welcome them in as a part of your own family dynamic. Life is an adventure, right? Why not try new things, new ideas and new ways of doing things along the way.

Creating a Home

Designing and creating a space can be intimidating.

People often think you need to be a

professional interior designer to create a space that is prefect. That is not true! The reality is that no one really wants to live in one of those magazine pictures that are so perfect and so beautiful that you dare not touch anything for fear of getting it dirty. You CAN create a space that is perfectly you. Our homes are where we come to relax and shut the world out or welcome our friends in. Our homes are the perfect place to show off our personalities and style to those who join us in our space.

I will give you tips and tricks on how to

find your style and how to execute it within the walls of your own home creating a space you love to spend time in.

Grandma Camp

The relationship between children and their grandparents is one of the most important of their life. The memories made while spending time together benefits both the child and the grandparents.

Did you know that allowing grandparents to babysit their grandchildren reduces the chances of Alzheimer's and other memory related issues?? How cool is that! Sometimes being the grandparent is difficult and you just don't know how to relate to the younger generations and all of their interests.

Here you can find ideas and detailed plans so that your time with your grandkids will be enjoyable for both of you.
