As some of you may know, Halloween, and dressing up, is one of my favorite things. It's time to start planning your own costumes, so I have gathered five of my favorite family costumes that you can easily and inexpensively DIY.
I absolutely LOVE family costumes. I never could get the husband to play along, but whenever I could recruit the kids to my idea I would jump on it. My adult kids have kept up the tradition. Above is my oldest daughter, grandson and son-in-law in 2019 dressed as scarecrows and their little crow, and my second oldest as Professor Sprout with her mandrake.
A person should always choose a costume which is in direct contrast to her own personality.

So what costumes did I chose for my favorites? Let's get started and I'll show you. You're going to love these!
I will admit to watching this during lockdown, and I loved it, Lol. It is always so surprising to me when people are willing to show all parts of themselves, good and bad, to everyone on television. This may be a very popular costume this year, and @jadelizroper nailed it with their two cute little tigers. Made up of mostly clothes found in your closet or your local thrift store, this is an inexpensive option for a family.

Superheros are a simple and readily available costume, especially if you have a bigger family. You are almost guaranteed to find something for everyone in your group, yet still look unified. How cute is the family from TLC's Outdaughtered! They even got the puppy in on the fun. ♥︎

This is such a cute and simple family costume! Simple and inexpensive sweat suits that are readily available almost everywhere make this such a great option. The other plus is there is no make-up involved which a lot of kids do not like. The cloud hats and shoes are the best! I love this!

This sandwich family is so cute and so well done. Disclosure, this costume will take a little more time and more cost than the previous costumes but it is so worth it. That little tomato has the sweetest little face I've ever seen. Couldn't you just gobble her up? ♥︎

This punny costume is hilarious. The Thinkingcloset did not let having a new baby stop them from the fun of the season. With basic supplies you can create a big impact and generate great laughs.

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. It can be so fun to create yourself into something or someone different, if even for just a few hours. Whether you are going to a party, taking out trick-or-treaters, or just answering your door and handing out candy, dressing up can be simple, fun and makes the night so much more magical for little kids. Keep it simple, make it enjoyable, and have fun!! Now go tell your family you love them ♥︎♥︎♥︎
